U.S. Army Nurses Behind Enemy Lines
During World War II, a group of courageous US Army Nurses were caught in the crossfire while stationed in Albania. After the German conquest of the country in 1943, these courageous nurses risked their lives to care for the injured and sick. As the Nazi forces advanced, the nurses became increasingly isolated behind enemy lines.
